TEHRAN, Oct. 05 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi press conference in Damascus kicked off on Saturday.

"Our response to any Israeli aggression will be stronger and harsher. They can test our will," Araghchi said in a news conference on Saturday in Damascus.

"We held constructive talks with President Assad in Damascus and reached very good agreements and coordination to continue confronting the crimes of the Zionist regime," the top Iranian diplomat added.

"The message of my trip to Damascus and Beirut is that Iran will stand by the Resistance under any circumstances," he continued.

"A plane carrying humanitarian aid for the people of Lebanon will arrive in Syria tomorrow," he also said.

"The Iranian government will continue its good relations with Syria," the foreign minister later said.

The top Iranian diplomat arrived in Damascus from Beirut, the Lebanese capital, where he held with Parliament speaker Nabih Berri on Friday.

On the visit to Damascus earlier today, Araghchi held talks with President Assad and his Syrian counterpart as well as the country's prime minister.
