TEHRAN, Sep. 14 (MNA) – Iranian practitioner Helia Asadian has grabbed a bronze medal at the 2024 Asian Wushu Championships in Macau.

In the women’s Nandao event, Iran's Asadian finished third with a score of 9.676.

Athletes from Malaysia and Uzbekistan won the silver and bronze medals with scores of 9.693 and 9.690, respectively.

Asadian's compatriot, Zahra Kiani, won a gold medal in the women’s Jianshu form with a total score of 9.686.

The 2024 Asian Wushu Championships is taking place in Macau from September 9 to 15.
