The media outlets reported that the sound of these explosions was caused when Syrian army countered a spy balloon or drone over Damascus, the capital of Syria.
Some sources also reported a missile attack on the American base in Syria's Konico Gas Field in the north of Deir Ezzor province.
According to reports, loud explosions were heard around this base and a column of smoke rose from inside the base.
Syrian sources reported that several explosions were heard in the sky of Damascus.
