TEHRAN, Oct. 09 (MNA) – Iran's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners have won ten colorful medals at the European IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship (known as European Open) held in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Iran’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu team stood in third place by winning 6 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze medals in the Grand Prix No-Gi division.

Mohammad-Sadra Bahrami, Parsa Mahmoudi, Mohammad-Amin Jamshidi, Fardia Poursheibani, Ghaffar Mirzaei, and Saeed Yazdani each won gold medals in the 66kg, 72kg, 62kg, 50kg, 85kg, and 120 kg weight categories respectively.

Hossein Farhangkhah (94kg) bagged the silver medal, while Sam Seyyed Mousavi (94kg), Mehdi Modanlou (77kg), and Parsa Abbadirad (72kg) reach received bronze medals in the sporting event.
