TEHRAN, Dec. 28 (MNA) – Local news sources on Wednesday reported that a blast occurred in the Sabiha Gokcen International Airport in Turkey's Istanbul.

The blast occurred due to the explosion of a gas pipe in the airport, according to the news.

Following the explosion, the flights were suspended and the planes that were going to land at the Sabiha Gokcen Airport changed their destination to Istanbul International Airport.

No further details regarding the possible damage and causalities have been released so far.
