TEHRAN, Sep. 13 (MNA) – Iranian Greco-Roman wrestler Mohammadhadi Saravi won a bronze medal in the 97kg category at the World Wrestling Championships.

He defeated Turkey's Metehan Başar 6-1 in the bronze medal match on Monday.

Earlier, Greco-Roman wrestler Mohammadreza Geraei also claimed a silver medal in the competitions. Geraei lost to 2019 world bronze medal winner Mate Nemes of Serbia 5-4.
