TEHRAN, Jan. 06 (MNA) – Statistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran customs Administration (IRICA) revealed that more than 6,341,000 tons of livestock corn, valued at over $1.476 billion, were imported into the country in the nine months of the current Iranian calendar year in 1397 (March 21 – Dec. 21).

Importing livestock corn into the country in the same period registered a considerable 25.5 and 30.3 percent increase in terms of weight and value, respectively, IRICA added.

In addition, 23,871,000 tons of goods, valued at $32.620 billion, were imported into the country in the nine months of the current year (March 21 – Dec. 21), recording a significant 13.2 and 15.9 percent decline in terms of weight and value, respectively.
