The Iranian senior military commander made the remarks on Friday at a meeting with Iranian university students.

Military threats uttered by enemies are not taken seriously as we are sure that we powerful enough to contain the threats,” he maintained.

“Now that we are approaching the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution victory, the threats by enemies have reached their pinnacle. But the only threat that they do not dare to practice is the military threat,” underlined Major General Jafari.

“The enemies are after disappointing the people and officials of our country with their media hype,” he added. “Although enemies hype has affected some officials, thanks to God Almighty the spread of lies, negative publicity and fabrications are doomed to failure, as in the past, with vigilance of the masses of the nation and the officials,” reassured Mr. Jafari.
