Once new waves of sanctions on Iran’s oil sector are implemented practically, the government will allocate 386,000 billion tomans worth of budget along with 2018 Budget Bill to deal with the sanctions, Nobakht emphasized.
In this regard, responsible organizations and ministries have adopted necessary measures to deal with US sanctions, he said, adding, “we have also taken effective steps even if European Union (EU) and UN Security Council (UNSC) impose sanctions on Iran.”
Sales of 2,410,000 barrels of oil per day (bpd) had been anticipated for the last three months, so that about 2,800,000 barrels of oil was sold, showing a considerable growth, he observed.
If each barrel of oil is sold for about $65, most governmental problems will be resolved completely, Nobakht opined.
Elsewhere in his remarks, head of Plan and Budget Organization stated that about 193 billion tomans worth of fund was paid for completion of construction operation of development projects in the country in the first three months of the current year (March 21-June 22).
Nobakht put the exports volume in the first three months of the current year at about $11 billion, showing a considerable 21 percent hike as compared to the same period of last year.
