TEHRAN, Apr. 30 (MNA) – Two Iranian cyclists have brought home two medals in the 1st Asian Trails Championships which started this morning in Japan.

In the first Asian Trails Championships, two representatives from Iran showed excellent performances to collect a silver as well as a bronze medal.

In class 26, Payman Azadi came second to bring home a silver medal, while Amir Mohammadi Nejad collected a bronze medal in the same category.

Meanwhile in class 20, two other Iranian cyclists Javad Rahimi and Mehdi Peyvandi reached the final round,  but Japanese rivals performed better and won all the three gold, silver and bronze medals, whereas  Rahimi and Peyvandi took the fourth and fifth titles.
