TEHRAN, Apr. 23 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif tweeted on Monday that French President Macron is right when he said there is no plan B for the nuclear agreement of July 14, 2015.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif posted a message on his Twitter account highlighting the point made by French President Macron, who told Fox News in an interview on Sunday ahead of his state visit to Washington, that there is no alternative for the JCPOA, AKA Iran nuclear deal.

"Is this agreement perfect and this JCPOA a perfect thing for our relationship with Iran? No. But for nuclear - what do you have? As a better option? I don't see it," Macron said.

"What is the plan B?" Macron asked in reference to the nuclear deal.

"Let's preserve this framework [rather] than some sort of North Korean type of situation," he added.

Here comes the full text of foreign Minister Zarif’s tweet:

President Macron is correct in saying there's no "Plan B" on JCPOA. It's either all or nothing. European leaders should encourage President Trump not just to stay in the nuclear deal, but more importantly to begin implementing his part of the bargain in good faith.
