TEHRAN, Dec. 18 (MNA) – Parliament speaker described the Israeli regime as an ‘evil bureaucracy’ in the Middle East, calling for taking actions against it.

Ali Larijani, Iran’s Speaker of the Parliament, made the remarks at the emergency meeting of PUOICM (Palestinian Committee of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States) in Tehran on Tuesday, adding that “the committee must play a major role in the current situation when important developments are taking place in Palestine.”

The popular uprising of the people in Islamic countries gave the US and Zionist regime the opportunity “to put them in trouble,” according to Larijani.

He said that “while the people in Islamic countries had legitimate demands that should have been addressed by the governments, the Zionists and Americans decided to exploit the situation and put Iraq and Syria, Egypt, Tunisia, Libya and some other countries in trouble and the Syrian crisis lasted for six years.”

“They decided to disturb the region in order to let the Israeli regime to live peacefully.”

With US recent actions regarding Jerusalem al-Quds, he said, “they want to change the nature of Palestine” adding that “they want the Islamic countries to forget all about Palestine.”

According to parliament speaker, if the Americans and Zionists succeed in making the Islamic countries forget about Palestine they will seek more plots.

Referring to Israeli regime as an ‘evil bureaucracy’, he explained “the US recognition of Jerusalem al-Quds is just a beginning, adding “Islamic countries’ fate is interconnected with the fate of Palestine and it is up to all to take actions soon.”

Larijani called for suspending Islamic countries political and economic relations with the Zionist regime and said “If we do not do something now, we will regret very soon in the future.”
