According to the Palestinian Information Center, a high-ranking Hamas delegation, headed by Saleh al-Arouri, Deputy Political Chief of the movement, arrived in Tehran on Friday afternoon.
Ezzat Rashagh, Mohammad Nasr, Osama Hamdan, Zaher Jabarin, Sami Abu Zuhri and well as Khaled Ghodomi are other members of the Hamad delegation currently in visiting Iran.
The delegation is scheduled to meet with Iranian authorities and describe course of developments in the Palestinian National Reconciliation and the latest developments in the occupied territories.
Palestinian political parties Hamas and Fatah signed a reconciliation deal in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on Thursday in line with attempts to end a decade-long Palestinian territorial, political and ideological rift.
Recently, Ismail Haniya, Head of Hamas’ Political Bureau, also emphasized that the reconciliation agreement must be enforced and all should stand against any threat that strikes national unity.
