TEHRAN, Aug. 26 (MNA) – Mohammad Rajablou of Iran stood on the second podium at the Tour of Xingtai as part of Asia Tour 2017.

The second stage of 2017 Tour of Xingtai was competed over 150 kilometers on Saturday morning in China where Mohammad Rajablou, a member of Iran’s professional cycling club Pishgaman Kavir Yazd, was the second cyclist to ride past the finishing line. Polish and Ukrainian rivals landed first and third, respectively.

Additionally, Pishgaman Kavir Yazd outfit jumped one spot in the team rankings to occupy the top position. So far, teams from the US and Ukraine stand second and third.

In the Mountain category, Amir Kolahdouz is still in the first position with a total of eight points. The Iranian cyclists is followed by Jacob Rathe of the US and Ukraine’s Andriy Vasylyuk with seven and six points, respectively.

Moreover, Arvin Arvin Moazzemi Goudarzi of Iran is in the third place in the individual section for top Asian cyclists.

The 2017 UCI Asia Tour is the 13th season of the UCI Asia Tour. The season began on 22 October 2016 with the Tour of Hainan and will end on 7 October 2017.
