TEHRAN, Jul. 29 (MNA) – Iran’s Deputy FM Seyed Abbas Araghchi said Foreign Ministry agrees with the Parliament’s draft on US measures, underlining the country's violation of JCPOA is still far from clear.

Speaking among reporters after the meeting of National Security and Foreign Policy Commission on countering US adventurous and terrorist acts in the region, Araghchi said ‘we had a good debate over the US sanctions law approved against Iran, and there were consensus around the dimensions and consequences of the law at the meeting.'

He noted that the recent move by US Congress is a hostile one, and the Islamic Republic will definitely take a decisive action over the issue.

“Foreign Ministry fully agrees with the draft provided at NSFPC, and especially because the US measures has had a negative impact on the implementation of JCPOA, it will face Iran's decisive response against its fresh sanctions law against Iran,” Araghchi noted.

"The move is the violation of Articles 26, 28 and 29 in JCPOA, and there is a need for a mutual action by Iran,” he added.

Deputy FM reiterated that US has definitely violated its obligations, but there is still a long way to examine US clear breach of JCPOA, on which the supervisory board will make up an appropriate response on behalf of Iran.
