TEHRAN, May 29 (MNA) – Parliament official Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said the reliance of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain on Donald Trump’s America will yield no beneficial results for them.

General Director for International Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian made the remark in a meeting with representative of the Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas in Iran, Khaled Qaddoumi, on Sunday in Tehran.

During the meeting, Amir-Abdollahian stressed that the consequence of the Al-Khalifa’s reassurance of Saudi approval of the military siege over Sheikh Issa Qassim’s residence and the US green light would be further escalation of internal crisis in Bahrain and more severe crackdown on innocent people in Yemen.

The Iranian parliament official noted the clandestine moves by Israeli regime and the knowledge of nations and certain groups of such moves, adding that normalization of Arab-Israeli relations would never be realized and Al Quds would remain the first Qibla for all Muslims in the world.

Khaled Qaddoumi, for his part, stressed that Hamas has not retreated from its previous principles in the new document, adding “our views have been clearly stated in Hamas new document. We have highlighted our previous principles such as preserving the territorial integrity of Palestine, not recognizing the Zionist entity, considering Al Quds as the Qibla for Muslims, and the return of all Palestinian refugees and the displaced.”

He further evaluated Donald Trump’s trip to Saudi Arabia, saying “the results of the trip are clear. The visit shows a clear lack and defect, injustice and turmoil in the global system.”
