TEHRAN, Mar. 26 (MNA) – Iraqi Interior Minister Qasim al-Araji met with Sheikh Akram al Ka'abi, Secretary General of Nojaba Islamic Resistance (NRI) Party in Baghdad on Saturday.

Qasim Mohammad Jalal al-Araji, who was appointed Iraq’s Minister of Interior in January, attended at the central office of Nojaba Islamic Resistance (NRI) Party in Baghdad where he met with Sheikh Akram al Ka'abi, Secretary General of NRI, on Saturday, according to the communiqué released by the politics and media department of the party.

During the meeting which was held without the attendance of journalists and media people the two sides discussed the latest development of today’s Iraq and the future of the country after the successful liberation of Mosul from Takfiri terrorists.

The Iraqi Interior Minister al-Araji voiced hi concern over the lives of Iraqi citizens who are victimized by sporadic explosions across the country and asserted that to put an end to terrorism in Iraq and restore peace and stability to the whole country and especially to the capital city of Baghdad demands intelligence job to identify and eliminate terrorist grouplets.

He also said that the people entangled in operational zones of Mosul should be evacuated through safe paths to be rescued.

Sheikh Akram al Ka'abi, for his part underlined that unity and solidarity should be kept among all resistance leaders and Iraqi military forces to implement a unified plan against terrorism and divisive plots in the war-torn country.

Referring to the defeat conceded by DAESH in the western areas of Mosul, Sheikh Ka'abi highlighted that the aid vessels of DAESH from Syria should be cut by volunteer forces and forces of the Interior Ministry.
