TEHRAN, Jan. 17 (MNA) – VP Is'hagh Jahangiri and Syrian PM Imad Khamis have sit in a meeting to sign MoUs which will provide Syrian side access to Iran’s technical capabilities.

Mr. Khamis arrived in Tehran on Monday night and was received by Jahangiri in famous Saadabad Palace in northern quarters of Tehran. He heads a delegation of tradesmen and politicians to Iran.

Along with Jahangiri, Iran’s Minister of Economy Ali Tayebnia was in the meeting and signed a deal to handle extraction and processing of minerals in a phosphate mine in Ash Sharqiyya in Syria.

Syrian side will also receive 12 acres of land with agricultural land use permission, a telecommunication line operation license, an oil terminal, and a cattle farm and its surrounding land.

Mr. Khamis will also visit Secretary of SNSC Ali Shamkhani to discuss the prospects of Astana meeting where Syrian government and opposition leaders will sit to address the future of Syria.
