“Undoubtedly, the priority of Islamic Republic of Iran’s foreign policy is to have the best relations with neighbors and the regional countries,” said Bahram Ghasemi, the spokesman of Iran’s Foreign Ministry, on Friday, in response to a question posed about the positive approach of Kuwait's National Assembly Speaker.
In an interview with Qatari daily of Al Sharq published on Thursday, Kuwait's National Assembly Speaker, Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim, confirmed the desire of the State of Kuwait and all other Arab countries of the Persian Gulf to create a calm atmosphere and to enjoy neighborly and cooperation relations with Iran.
Ghasemi underlined that the Islamic Republic of Iran, according to its permanent, principle-ruled, and unchangeable policy, is always after stability, peace, and progress in its neighboring countries and, in addition to welcoming any well-intentioned practice, hope that the stimulating and unconstructive measure of some third party countries do not affect the will of states to establish brotherly ties for common interests.
