TEHRAN, Jun. 13 (MNA) – Iran’s FM Zarif said he will meet and talk with US Secretary of State John Kerry in Oslo to pursue America’s fulfillment of JCPOA obligations.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, who has arrived in Norway to attend the Oslo Forum, said “during a meeting with the Norwegian Foreign Minister Børge Brende, we will discuss bilateral ties between Tehran and Oslo in various fields including oil, gas, environment as well as political and regional consultations.”

Further elaborating on the schedule for his three-day trip to Norway, Zarif noted “the Oslo Forum will kick off with speeches by me as well as by the Norwegian foreign minister and EU Chief Federica Mogherini.”

The Iranian official said he will emphasize the need for a change of viewpoints to resolve regional conflicts while he will later engage in a dialogue with the participants.

“Also on Wednesday on the sidelines of the Forum, I will hold a meeting with John Kerry to pursue US commitment to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action,” he added.

On Wednesday, Zarif is slated to make a short visit to Germany where he will meet his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier in order to exchange views on bilateral ties and regional issues.

Zarif is being accompanied by Deputy FM for Legal and International Affairs Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Europe and America Majid Takht-Ravanchi, a number of other deputy foreign ministers as well as Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hossein Jaberi Ansari.
