According to Tasnim News Agency, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will visit Norway next week to attend the annual Oslo Forum as the leading international network of armed conflict mediation practitioners.
This two-day forum is co-hosted by the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue (HD), and will convene senior conflict mediators, key peace process actors, analysts and experts on 14-15 June in Oslo. US Secretary of State John Kerry, EU Chief Federica Mogherini and Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nation Jan Eliasson are among the key participants in the Oslo Forum.
During the conference, several round tables and specialized panels will be held on various topics including Syria, Yemen, Ukraine, and Afghanistan.
It is still unknown whether Foreign Minister Zarif would hold bilateral or multilateral meetings on Iran's nuclear deal with his American counterpart or Ms. Mogherini on the sidelines of the forum.
Zarif is also expected to make a visit to Germany next week, following his two-day stay in the Norwegian capital.
