Since the implementation of JCPOA on January 16, 2016, Iran has observed a myriad of economic events that have been reviewed in the report ‘Post-JCPOA: Time to invest in Iran.’ After several months of negotiations between Iran and the 5+1 group of countries, the promised day finally arrived a few weeks ago on January 16 and sanctions that had engulfed our Iran for many years are now lifted. Iran-Saudi Arabia’s severed ties following the execution of prominent cleric Sheikhi Nimr al-Nimr by the Saudi regime and the embassy incident prompted the head of Strategic Research Center Ali Akbar Velayati to shed more light on the situation.
