The reason why the Leader addressed the youth in his open letter to the westerners is that the youth are more apt to accept the truth and they will form the elderly of the future, Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani told worshippers at weekly Friday prayers in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.
Describing the letter an interesting and noticeable move, the senior cleric recounted that the letter has got two aspects, one ideological and the other political.
"The letter starts with referring to Paris terrorist attacks which saddened Ayatollah Khamenei; a proof that for him and other Muslims across the globe the religion of the victims does not matter and the murder of human beings regardless of their ideologies is unacceptable," highlighted the Grand Ayatollah.
The cleric lamented that the West is suffering a paradox in dealing with terrorism; "on one hand they claim opposition to the ISIL and terrorists, on the other hand they support the state terrorism of Israeli regime, they also fund and support ISIL."
Emami Kashani commented on the current situation across the world and held that it would finally merit Islam and hurt the Western arrogance as the developments would awaken the nations and people of the world and expose the paradoxes.
The advocates of terrorism are not more than 100 million and the rest of the population of the world are against terrorism and will soon part those pro-terrorists, said he.
"The people of western countries and Saudi Arabia, after finding that their governments are supporting terrorism, will abandon them and it is a reality to happen in the near future," noted Ayatollah Emami Kashani.
Dialogue between the religions of the world was urged by the cleric as he maintained that academic investigations would prove the real pro-human image of Islam.
Referring to successful run of the Arbaeen ceremony, Emami Kashani slammed Saudis who are far richer than Iraqis for being unsuccessful in keeping a 2 million pilgrim event in comparison with Iraqis’ excellent management of a 26 million participant ceremony.
The Grand Ayatollah voiced his gratitude for the hospitality and shrewdness of Iraqis in running the Arbaeen ceremony on Thursday.
