Lebanese politician Adnan Mansour who was formerly the Foreign Minister of the country attended the ceremony to honor the pilgrims killed in Mina tragedy and told MNA’s reporter that the tragic event of Mina caused great grief for Muslims all over the world, especially Iranians who have lost 464 Hajjis in the event.
Mansour urged for Saudi transparency over the issue and called KSA responsible for taking measures to clarify the cause or causes of the event.
The Al-Saud did not stand up to the self-made claims of aptitude for running a congress as big as Hajj and there should be a new decision made for upcoming Hajj rituals , the veteran Lebanese diplomat reaffirmed.
In addition to Mansour, a host of other cultural, political, and religious figures of Lebanon attended the ceremony set up by Iran’s embassy to Beirut on Wednesday.
