Khorramshahr after 36 years
KHORRAMSHAHR, May 25 (MNA) – The city of Khoramshahr was liberated on May 24, 1982 after 578 days of occupation by the Ba’ath regime of Saddam Hussein. Today, after 36 years the city is still suffering from water shortages, dust storms and joblessness despite efforts by the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
