TEHRAN, May 29 (MNA) – The hawksbill turtles embark on their journey back to sea after their are hatched from their eggs in an area near the Village of Shib on Qeshm Island on the Persian Gulf each year as the spring near its end.

Newly hatched Hawksbill turtles crawl into Persian Gulf
TEHRAN, May 27 (MNA) – A group of Hawksbill baby sea turtles, hatched out on Tuesday morning in the southern Iranian Qeshm Island, crawl clumsily into the Persian Gulf to swim out to the free waters. The Persian Gulf islands of Shidvar, Nakhiloo, Kish, and Qeshm are four conservation sites for hawksbill sea turtles in Iran.

Hawksbill sea turtles hatch on Kish Island
TEHRAN, Jun. 01 (MNA) – Hawksbill sea turtles lay their eggs in early spring and after some two months, they start to hatch. Here are photos of this endangered species’ hatching in the current year on the southern Iranian island Kish.
