SHIRAZ, Oct. 11 (MNA) – A big ceremony was held in Shiraz with a large number of people in attendance at globally known Persian poet Hafez on his day on Friday.
This year October 11 is honored as Hafez Day in Iran to commemorate Shams al-Din Mohammad Hafez-e Shirazi, better known as 'Hafez', the 14th-century lyric poet.
