TEHRAN, Sep. 22 (MNA) – Iranian Armed Forces held a military parade at the mausoleum of the late founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini in southern Tehran on Friday morning to mark Sacred Defense Week.
Similar rallies were also held in other Iranian provinces to commemorate the occasion.
Sacred Defense Week marks the anniversary of the 1980-88 Iraq-imposed war by ex-Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein on Iran.
