BIRJAND, Nov. 15 (MNA) – Farmers in Iran’s eastern province of South Khorasan have started harvesting barberry. The product is widely used as a food additive with lots of benefits. South Khorasan accounts for the lion’s share of barberry production both nationwide and worldwide. More than 98% of Iran’s barberry is produced in South Khorasan.
