TEHRAN, Sep. 18 (MNA) – September 17 has been named the 'National Day of Persian Poetry and Literature' in Iran to coincide with the death anniversary of the legendary Iranian poet Shahriar. Tehran’s Vahdat Hall hosted a ceremony attended by Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ali Jannati, Minister of Energy Hamid Chitchian and many literary figures in honor of the prominent poet.
