TEHRAN, Dec. 26 (MNA) – Founded in 2004, the Vafa Animal Shelter is the first center for protecting animals in Iran. The non-government charity organization is dedicated to providing help and shelter to injured and homeless animals in the country. The shelter relies solely on private donations and volunteers.
