Vance claims progress has been made in US-Iran talks

TEHRAN, Nov. 03 (MNA) – US Vice President JD Vance said that "some progress" had been made in consultations between the United States and Iran on ending the war.

"Well, we’ve had a number of good conversations with the Iranians. I actually just spoke with the president of the United States [Donald Trump]," he told reporters at Joint Base Andrews near Washington.

"We’ve certainly made some progress. We’ll see if we can make some more," Vance added.

"The president and I both feel pretty good about the prospects for potentially coming to a negotiated settlement. We’re going to keep on working at it," he stressed.
