Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesman for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, warned that any renewed aggression launched from the United Arab Emirates against Iranian islands would be met with a direct military response.
According to Mehr News Agency, Zolfaghari said Iran had previously announced and demonstrated in practice that the source of any aggression against its territory and national sovereignty would be targeted.
He added that if any new attack were launched from UAE territory against the Iranian islands of Abu Musa and Greater Tunb in the Persian Gulf, Iran’s armed forces would strike Ras Al Khaimah.
