No projectile fired from Iran towards Turkey

TEHRAN, Mar. 10 (MNA) – In a phone call with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stressed that the missiles directed toward Turkish airspace "did not originate from Iran." 

Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi discussed with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan the developments in the region and the conditions resulting from the aggression of the United States and the Zionist regime against the Islamic Republic of Iran in a telephone call on Tuesday.

The Iranian Foreign Minister stressed that no projectile was fired from Iran origin towards Turkey, emphasizing the need to be vigilant against the Zionist regime's plots to destroy Iran's friendly relations with regional countries.

The Turkish Foreign Minister, for his part, congratulated his Iranian counterpart on the election of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the new Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran. 

Fidan emphasized the importance of preserving the deep and brotherly relations between the two countries. 

In the phone conversation, it was also decided to form a joint military expert group as soon as possible, in accordance with the agreement reached between the presidents of the two countries, to carefully examine the recent claims about violating of Turkey airspace by Iranian missiles.
