Nasser Kan'ani strongly condemned the attack of the Zionist occupation regime on the border area of Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip.
He stated that the Israeli attack on Rafah which comes despite all the international outcry and the strong opposition of the international community shows that savage regime is not committed to any international norms. He added that the Zionist regime is considered the main threat to international peace and security.
This action of the Zionist regime is aimed at defeating the international efforts to stop the war and end the genocide in Gaza only to protect the individual and group interests of the Zionist criminals, he said.
Kan'ani emphasized that the key to peace and security in the region is the immediate and unconditional cessation of the war against the oppressed Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and West Bank, adding that all international actors must put pressure on the Zionist regime.
Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson further stressed that the responsibility for the ongoing crimes and bloodshed, especially in the Rafah region lies with the child-killing Zionist regime and its main supporter, the US government, adding that these criminals must be held accountable for the Zionists crimes.
He noted that Iran again urges the international legal and judicial bodies to speed up the process of dealing with the crimes against humanity committed by the authorities of the Zionist apartheid regime, calling on them to bring Zionists to put them on trial and punish them.
