Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks in a meeting with a group of Iranian teachers on National Teachers Day.
Coinciding with the Martyrdom anniversary of Ayatollah Morteza Motahari, which is regarded as National Teacher's Day in Iran, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution received 3,000 teachers from all over the country at Imam Khomeini's Hosseinieh on Wednesday morning.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution stated that today, Gaza is the first issue of the world, emphasizing that the Zionists and their American and European supporters cannot remove the Gaza issue from the agenda of the world's public opinion.
Referring to the recent Pro-Palestine protests in the US universities, he noted that the pressure on the Zionist regime must increase day by day.
He added that the US behavior on the Gaza issue proves the legitimacy of Iran's distrust regarding the US.
He emphasized that Palestine must be returned to its true owners, saying that normalizing relations with the Zionist regime will never solve the problem of the West Asia region.
Students, youth, and teenagers should be aware of the logic behind the Islamic Establishment's policies and behavior, and the logic behind the slogans of "Death to America" and "Death to Israel" and the reasons that Iran is not willing to establish relations with some countries and governments, the leader said.
He added that US actions show its complicity in the crimes of the Zionist regime.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the Leader referred to the role of teachers in society, considering correctly explaining the fundamental issues of the country and the Islamic Establishment for the youth as one of the duties of the teachers.
He also urged the teachers to raise the level of hope among their students, saying, "Hope guarantees the country's future."
