Major General Hossein Salami made the remarks while speaking in a ceremony in Tehran to bid farewell to newly unearthed martyrs of Iraqi-imposed war on Iran (1980-1988).
Pointing to the alleged US propaganda on human rights and democracy, the IRGC commander said the US officials opine they can live in a secure world if they occupy and bury other nations, but the existing experiences in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria prove that the Americans are being forced to withdraw from different countries.
According to the Iranian general, the Palestinian people will continue resisting, while the US and the Israeli regime are doomed to fail in the Gaza war.
Muslim nations are infuriated with the war crimes in the Gaza Strip; therefore, American officials do not dare to visit any Islamic country, he said, adding that the Iranian people will support Palestine to the end.
More than 18,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed during the war that Israel launched on October 7 following an operation staged by Gaza's Resistance groups, dubbed Operation al-Aqsa Storm.
The Israeli aggression has also been followed by a regional drive in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and Lebanon to target US and Israeli interests in the region.
