US bases in Iraq, Syria come under drone attack

TEHRAN, Nov. 07 (MNA) – The United States' illegal bases in Iraq and Syria have been targeted again in response to Washington's support for Tel Aviv in its crime against Palestinians residing in Gaza.

Arab news sources reported that an illegal US base in northeastern Syria has come under a drone attack.

The US base in Syria's al-Hasakah was targeted with a suicide drone, according to the reports.

The reports added that a US base in Iraq's Erbil was also targeted with a drone.

In reaction to US support for the Israeli regime in the Gaza war, the Resistance groups have repeatedly targeted the positions of American forces in recent days.

Pentagon spokesperson Patrick Ryder said Monday that US troops stationed in Iraq and Syria have been attacked by rockets and drones 38 times since Oct. 17.

After the martyrdom of Resistance commanders who led the anti-terrorism fight in Iraq and Syria, the Iraqi parliament approved a piece of legislation to call for the withdrawal of American troops from the country, a demand that the US troops have yet to meet.
