Iran sends humanitarian aid to Gaza via south port

TEHRAN, Nov. 04 (MNA) – The Islamic Republic has dispatched a consignment of humanitarian aid to the people of Palestine through the southern port of Shahid Rajaee, the head of Iran's head Crescent Society said.

Vahid Salimi said on Saturday that other consignments were loaded at the port of Shahid Rajaee.

As part of a plan to help the affected people in the Gaza war, Iranians have donated over $1.2 million so far to be delivered to the war-torn Gaza.

The Israeli regime has been attacking Gaza in the wake of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm by the Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas on October 7, which was in response to decades-long violence against Palestinians and recurrent incursions into al-Aqsa Mosque.

The conflict between the Zionist regime and Hamas has killed more than 9,200 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, mainly civilians and at least 1,400 Zionist soldiers and settlers, according to official figures from both sides.
