In a post on his official X account on Sunday, Nasser Kan’ani reacted to a Saturday announcement by Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli regime’s prime minister, who blatantly claimed the regime has the most moral military in the world which does everything to avoid harm to non-combatants.
The death toll since the start of the Israeli regime's carnage on October 7 has surpassed 8,000 with upwards of 20,500 Palestinians wounded.
In his post, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman published footage of children killed by the Israeli regime in Gaza. "This video is one of the results of strikes by the ethical! military of the Zionist regime!" he sarcastically wrote.
"While the criminal prime minister of the Zionist regime claimed yesterday that the Israeli military was the most ethical one in the world, the regime’s military formally announced that it had attacked 450 targets in the Gaza Strip yesterday!" the senior Iranian diplomat stressed.
"Numerous images of Gaza released so far indicate that actions by the criminal Zionist regime in Gaza go beyond genocide," he added.
That is why the regime has shut down Internet services in Gaza to cover up realities, he concluded.
The Israeli regime has been attacking Gaza in the wake of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm by the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas on October 7, which was in response to decades-long violence against Palestinians and recurrent incursions into al-Aqsa Mosque.
Despite the unconscionable toll, on the 23rd day of the war on Gaza, the Israeli regime declared that the war had “entered a new phase.” On Friday, the Zionist forces intensified air, sea, and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip.
Numerous international aid agencies confirmed they lost contact with staff in Gaza after Tel Aviv knocked out internet and communications in the occupied territory.
The UN General Assembly has called for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza. 120 states voted for the resolution, but the Zionists rejected the call.
