TEHRAN, Oct. 29 (MNA) – The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas's Al-Qassam Brigades said in a statement on Sunday afternoon its forces targeted two Israeli tanks and they caught fire after they were hit.

WHO 'deeply concerned' by report of evacuation warning to Gaza's al-Quds hospital

The head of the World Health Organization has said the Palestinian Red Crescent’s report of it receiving warnings from Israeli authorities to immediately evacuate al-Quds hospital in the Gaza Strip is “deeply concerning”.

“The Palestinian Red Crescent report of evacuation threats to al-Quds hospital in Gaza is deeply concerning,” Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus wrote on X, formerly Twitter, according to Guardian.

Iranian, Saudi FMs discuss Gaza developments by phone 

In a telephone conversation on Sunday, the foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia emphasized the need for collective regional and international action to immediately stop the attacks against civilians in Gaza.

In a telephone conversation on Sunday, the foreign ministers of Iran and Qatar stressed and immediate cessation of the Zionist regime's aggression on Gaza and dispatch continuous and extensive humanitarian aid to the enclave. 

Hezbollah fighters strike more Israeli occupation sites on Lebanon border:

The Islamic Resistance fighters continued on sunday attacking the Israeli occupation sites on Lebanon border, inflicting heavy losses upon them.

Hezbollah military media issued a statement to clarify the details of the attack.

The statement issued by the Islamic Resistance according to Al-Manar TV website is as follows:

"On Sunday, October 29, 2023, at precisely 12:45 p.m., the Islamic Resistance fighters executed a precise strike on the Al-Samaqa site within the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms, resulting in immediate casualties."

Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas said in a statement on Sunday afternoon its forces targeted two Israeli tanks and they caught fire after they were hit.

The al-Qassam Brigades targeted the Zionist regime troops several times in the northwest of Beit Lahia and around the Gaza Strip since the early hours of the morning.

A group of the Zionist army was caught in an ambush by al-Qassam forces in the west of Erez military headquarters, and they were targeted by anti-armor missiles and fierce shooting, as a result of which, the Zionist military vehicles were destroyed and the soldiers were killed.

The Zionist Israeli regime has confirmed the Hamas attack and claimed that two soldiers were injured in the clashes.

Hamas: Netanyahu will face defeat 'greater than what he fears’ in Gaza

The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has warned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against any plans to expand the regime’s ground invasion of the Gaza Strip after more than three weeks of incessant bombardments in the besieged area.

Abu Ubaida, spokesman for the Gaza-based movement's military wing, al-Qassam Brigades, issued the warning after Netanyahu announced what he claimed to be the “second stage” of a ground incursion by the Israeli occupation army into Gaza.

"We are still waiting for him,” Abu Ubaida said in a video statement. "We will make him taste, by the strength of God, a defeat greater than what he expects or fears.”

According to press TV, the al-Qassam spokesman also hit out at Arab countries for a lack of humanitarian assistance to the besieged Gaza Strip and said the occupying regime was to blame for the failure to achieve an agreement over a prisoner swap with Palestinians.

Israeli army units continue to expand ground operations in the Gaza Strip, Israel military Spokesman Daniel Hagari said.

UAE condemns Israeli ground operations in Gaza Strip:

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Saturday condemned the Israeli ground operations in the Palestinian Gaza Strip, the state news agency WAM reported, citing the country's foreign ministry.

UAE, which became the first Persian Gulf country to normalize relations with Tel Aviv in 2020, also "expressed its deep concern over the Israeli military escalation and exacerbation of the humanitarian crisis.

Civil order 'starting to break down' in Gaza:

The United Nations relief agency says thousands of Palestinians, desperate due to three weeks of total siege and bombing, broke into several of its warehouses in the Gaza Strip, taking wheat, flour and other basic goods.

“This is a worrying sign that civil order is starting to break down after three weeks of war and a tight siege,” said Thomas White, the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in Gaza.

Pro-Gaza rally in Beirut:

Lebanese People have taken to the streets in Beirut to show their anger towards the Zionist regime's war on the Gaza Strip and Palestinians in the West Bank. Al-Jazeera reported similar large protests will be held in Germany, Spain and some other cities across the world in solidarity with Palestinians later today.

Massive pro-Palestine rally in Islamabad:

Accoridng to local Pakistani media, this is the largest pro-Palestine rally witnessed in Pakistan since Israeli regime’s war on Gaza began.

People, including women and children, have gathered from all over to participate in this protest and demonstrate their solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Actions of world leaders too weak to stop violence in Gaza: Doctors Without Borders

Earlier today the Medicins Sans Frontieres (MSF, Doctors Without Borders) and the World Health Organization said they had completely lost touch with their staff in Gaza.

The MSF humanitarian organization said the world leaders' actions are too weak and slow to stop violence in the Gaza Strip.

It said the international community must take stronger action to urge Israel to stop the bloodshed.

Israeli jets bombard areas near Gaza’s largest hospital:

Israeli warplanes have conducted airstrikes on areas close to the largest hospital in the Gaza Strip, as the regime’s genocidal war on the besieged enclave enters its 23rd day.

Citing eyewitnesses, the Associated Press reported on Sunday that the aerial assaults hit areas near Shifa Hospital, which is filled with patients and tens of thousands of people seeking shelter.

New barrage of rockets fired at occupied territories:

Rocket alert sirens sound in a number of towns and cities in central Israel, including Tel Aviv, Herzliya, Ra’anana, Holon and Hod Hasharon, Times of Israel reported.

A number of explosions are heard.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage, the regime media claimed.

Channel 12 reports that the barrage sent 1.5-2 million Zionists running for shelter.

Netanyahu Warns of ‘Difficult and Long’ War:

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced the launch of the “second stage” of the ongoing war, urging Israeli settlers to prepare for long-term hostilities.

In a public address, Netanyahu praised the impact of recent airstrikes on Hamas and other Palestinian resistance groups, but warned that the “battle within the Gaza Strip will be difficult and long.”

On Saturday, the Israeli Occupation’s Israeli Security Minister Yoav Gallant confirmed that the country had “moved on to a new phase in the war,” and that ground forces would continue to operate in Gaza “until new orders are given.”

Despite several failed attempts, Netanyahu says that his goal of the aggression attacks on Gaza is “to destroy the military and political capabilities of Hamas and to bring our taken settlers and soldiers back.”

The Israeli regime launched the war on Gaza on October 7 after the Palestinian Hamas Resistance group waged a surprise attack, dubbed Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, against the occupying entity.

Hamas said that its operation came in response to the Israeli regime’s violations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East al-Quds and growing Zionist settler violence.

Gaza's health ministry says Israeli strikes have since killed more than 8,000 Palestinians, over 3,000 of them children.
