Two US military bases reportedly attacked in Syria

TEHRAN, Oct. 23 (MNA) – Iraqi media sources reported that two American bases came under drone attack in Syria.

Sabereen news channel wrote that the Iraqi Resistance, in line with declaring solidarity with the Gaza Resistance and condemning the continuation of the Zionist regime's crimes against the Palestinian people with the support of the United States, targeted two American military bases in al-Tanf and al-Rukban with drone attacks.

No further details have been reported yet.

Issuing a statement, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed responsibility for the attack.

Al-Tanf is a US military base in an American-occupied part of Homs Governorate, Syria.

The base was built illegally with the US occupation forces and has a 50-kilometer no-go zone.

Yesterday, a military source reported that the United States' Ain al-Assad base in Iraq has come under missile attack.

Earlier on October 17, media sources reported that a drone attack had targeted the Al-Tanf base affiliated with the US forces on the Syrian-Iraqi borders.
