Sputnik news agency reported on Wednesday afternoon that at least three members of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) which are backed by the US military were killed after a Turkish drone attacked a vehicle carrying them in the suburbs of Hasakah.
This attack also injured a Syrian civilian.
The Turkish army has intensified its air and artillery attacks on the northern regions of Syria Since November 20. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has said that the country is considering conducting new ground operations in Syria.
The Syrian government has described the presence of Turkish and US troops on its soil as an occupation and has called for regaining control over its entire country.
