Iranian road minister hailed EU’s “wisdom” after a very recent delivery of 5 new ATR planes to Iran early on Sunday.
“Delivering 5 new ATR passenger planes is a demonstration of wisdom, constructive dialogue with the world, and a positive measure by the European Union to deliver on its commitments,” said Abbas Akhoundi, the Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development, on Sunday.
He made the remarks in Tehran, at Mehrabad Airport where the new 5 ATR planes were delivered.
He voiced hope that Iran get through this “difficult situation” with cooperation and consultation with other world powers like China, Russia and European Union along with India, Turkey and other neighboring countries of Iran.
“Today, the world is facing a new phenomenon, a person with gambling etiquette such as Donald Trump who is imposing new conditions on the world every day and as a result a serious uncertainty is hovering over the world,” he underlined.
“It matters a lot how to act in such a situation and how to put a full-of-hope future ahead of the Iranian nation in a way to not fall into US’s moves,” he asserted.
“I believed from the very beginning that we should not waste our time and we should jointly, with other signatories to the JCPOA which are still committed to the deal, protect the joint Comprehensive Plan of Action to not be left in an ambivalence,” Akhoundi maintained.
