Iran-Azerbaijan joint consular commission holds 1st meeting in Tehran

TEHRAN, Aug. 05 (MNA) – The first meeting of Iran-Azerbaijan Joint Consular Commission was held in the Iranian capital on Saturday, during which the two sides agreed to fully implement existing agreements.

Iran-Azerbaijan Joint Consular Commission held its first meeting in Tehran on Saturday to discuss bilateral consular cooperation including visa facilitation, extradition of convicts, combating drug trafficking and organized crimes.

The meeting was chaired by director generals for consular affairs of the two countries’ foreign ministries.

In the meeting, the two sides also expressed their satisfaction with the progress made in their bilateral cooperation on visa facilitation, judicial cooperation in criminal matters, extradition of convicts, extradition of criminals, combating drug trafficking and organized crime, and emphasized to continue full implementation of the previous agreements between the two countries.
