3rd Tehran Security Conf. to be held in Feb. 2019

The third edition of Tehran Security Conference will be held in Tehran in February 2019, according to the secretariat of the event.

The third international conference on security in West Asia, known as Tehran Security Conference, will be held under the theme “Regional Security in the Western Asia, the Perspective of Stability, Cooperation, and Collective progress”.

The 2018 edition of the event was held in January with more than 200 domestic and foreign political dignitaries and analysts from 49 Asian and European countries attending. The second edition’s theme was “Regional Security in West Asia; Emerging Challenges and Trends”.

The first edition of International Conference on Regional Security Order in West Asia was held in Tehran in December 2016 with the participation of senior foreign experts in the area of regional security.

The main motto of the conference has been dialogue as well as mutual confidence, respect and cooperation among West Asia countries in order to achieve collective security and progress, and this security won't be achieved without cooperation of regional countries.
