Armenian PM arrives in Tehran

TEHRAN, Oct. 09 (MNA) – Armenian PM Karen Karapetyan arrived in Tehran, Monday morning to start a two-day visit. Upon landing in Mehrabad airport, he was greeted by Sattar Mahmoudi, Iranian Deputy Minister of Energy.

The Armenian prime minister has made the trip upon the invitation of his Iranian counterpart, First Vice-President, Es’hagh Jahangiri whom he will meet in Sa’adabad Palace.

The two officials will exchange views on economic relations, regional and international issues and the expansion of ties between the two countries.

In addition to meeting with Jahangiri, the Armenian top official is supposed to meet with President Hassan Rouhani and the Speaker of Iran’s Parliament, Ali Larijani.
