The US Department of the Treasury issued a communique on Thursday imposing new sanctions and restrictions against Iranian citizens accusing them of being involved in an alleged cyber-attacks against US and providing supplies to Iranian missile program.
“The US has always been one of the originating countries of cyber-attacks against Iranian organizations, departments and state entities in the last couple of years,” reiterated the Iranian diplomat, “baseless and improper accusations against some Iranian citizens of being involved in cyber-attacks is an irrelevant claim of no prevalence, in violation of basic right of all people to have access to free and unrestricted access to the cycle of information.”
He described the American government’s move as a measure in contrast with all international guidelines.
“The recent measure of Washington is in line with their anti-Iranian policies of Iranophobia,” he asserted condemning the restrictions imposed upon Iranian citizens who “have stood against the greed and animosity of US.”
He warned the American officials to be careful about continuing such contemptuous policies against the Islamic Republic of Iran. He called them to take heed from the consequences of their former policies of no wisdom.
