Iran witnesses positive trade balance for 2nd year

TEHRAN, Mar. 30 (MNA) – The Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (ICA) released a report recounting the volume of export and import in the last year of Iranian calendar (1395).

The Islamic Republic of Iran has exported a volume of 43.930 billion dollars of goods and imported 43.684 billion in the last year of Iranian calendar (1395) according to the latest report issued by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (ICA). The same report affirms that it is for the first time in the last 37 years that the trade balance of the country is positive for the second consecutive year and it stands now at 246 million dollars.

The balance became positive for the first time in the year before last year with 924 million dollars. The same report affirms that 43.930 billion of the last 12 months is of non-oil goods which shows a 3.54 percent rise in the sector.
