Boroujerdi arrives in Pakistan for bilateral talks

TEHRAN, Jan. 25 (MNA) – Head of Parliament NSFPC Alaeddin Boroujerdi arrived in Islamabad of Pakistan on Wednesday to submit Parliament speaker’s official invitation to his Pakistani counterparts.

Boroujerdi is slated to hand in Ali Larijani’s invitation to the speakers of Senate (Upper) and National Assembly (Lower) Houses.

During his three-day visit to Pakistan, Boroujerdi is accompanied by Alireza Rahimi, a member of Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Commission and will hold talks with his counterparts in the two Houses of Pakistan.

He will also meet with Chaireman of Senate Raza Rabbani and Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.

Boroujerdi is also scheduled to meet with the Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, Mr. Sartaj Aziz and other senior officials.
